The last known Knight of the Word, Sider Ament, wields a powerful black staff that he hopes to pass to teen Tracker Panterra Qu. Any more will spoil a complex and rich world Brooks has again created. I really enjoyed this book but connecting it to the early Shannara books has been an interesting challenge. In reality that in itself has prompted me to revisit the series and see if I can put it all together in my mind.
