They involve a mixture of courtly intrigue, adventure, romance and\/or shapeshifters and magic users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recent publications include Heart of the Mountain: a short novella, The Herbalist&#8217;s Daughter: a short story and Lakwi&#8217;s Lament: a short story. Jeanette is also writing her Akrad\u2019s Legacy Series\u2014a Young Adult secondary world fantasy fiction with adventure, courtly intrigue and romantic elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her other short stories and poems are published in a number of anthologies including Glimpses of Light, Another Time Another Place and Like a Girl. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeanette has <g class=\"gr_ gr_7 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling multiReplace\" id=\"7\" data-gr-id=\"7\">practised<\/g> medicine, studied communication, history, theology and a Master of Arts (Writing). She loves reading, painting, travel, catching up for coffee with friends, pondering the meaning of life and communicating God\u2019s great love.
