Ladies view of romance maybe? The characterisations were good as far as they went but not a lot of substance. Interesting setting in Scotland and the Puffer. Could have done with more cooking and sailing rather than midwifery but a pleasant enough romance. It was almost as if the author was trying to describe a reality when she could have given us so much more fiction.<\/p>\n
